Real-Time
Information

ExcelsiusGPS is the only robotic navigation platform that addresses the gaps of standard navigation and current robotic technologies. ExcelsiusGPS provides real-time trajectory guidance and visualization of integrated instruments and implants, creating safety redundancies throughout the procedure to help maintain navigational integrity.

Adaptable End Effector

The actively navigated end effector can be exchanged, depending on the type of spine or cranial application

Force Deflection Sensing

The fully integrated force-sensing technology provides feedback on skiving and any deflection from the planned trajectory

Real-Time Visualization

The user interface enables surgeons to visualize integrated instruments and implants and navigate patient anatomy in real time

Floor-Mounted Stabilizers

The stabilizers engage to secure the base station to the floor without attaching to the bed or patient

Rigid Robotic Arm

The rigid robotic arm aligns to the planned trajectory and maintains positioning regardless of complexity

Intuitive Pre-Planning

The software intuitively outlines workflows for streamlined and efficient pre-planning of surgical procedures

Integrated Instruments

The integrated instruments, along with the end effector, remove the need for K-wires in less invasive procedures while also providing visualization for TLIF and LLIF procedures

Portable Maneuverability

The mobile, compact base station and camera stand allow for streamlined and adaptable setup and transport

“I am thrilled to incorporate ExcelsiusGPS technology into my surgical procedures at Island Hospital. I anticipate many benefits for my patients, most notably in the many ways that this device will add [accuracy] and efficiency. This is a revolutionary technological tool that will no doubt have a positive impact on many lives.”

Dr. Dawei Lu
Orthopedic Surgeon | Island Hospital

“We have a small margin for error as we navigate a narrow space to place the spinal screws. On either side are ‘danger elements,’ including delicate nerves that can be damaged. With ExcelsiusGPS, we’re able to be exact every time, increasing accuracy and safety.”

Dr. Torin Cunningham
Orthopedic Surgeon | MemorialCare Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital

“ExcelsiusGPS is truly a revolutionary technology designed to improve surgeon wellness and patient care. We are excited about the potential impact that robotic guidance and navigation may have in improving screw placement accuracy, MIS efficiency, and reducing radiation exposure.”

Dr. Peter Klassen
Neurosurgeon | Bonifatius Hospital

“One reason why we love ExcelsiusGPS is, quite frankly, the retention and recruitment it brings to our hospital. Doctors that are coming out of fellowship are wanting robots. It is a big piece for us to say that we have ExcelsiusGPS. Another reason we love the robot is that we get a higher volume of cases and more complex cases. The safety and high accuracy results made purchasing ExcelsiusGPS a no-brainer for us.”

Rick Rasmussen
CEO | Northwest Specialty Hospital

“ExcelsiusGPS allows us to perform more spine robotic cases and DRGs with higher complexity and acuity than we were ever able to do before [at Methodist Stone Oak], specifically because of the accuracy and the results that we can get time after time.”

Gabriel Marrufo
CFO | Methodist Stone Oak

“We have seen a really positive impact since adding ExcelsiusGPS to our hospital. For the first year we are 30% above our initial projections. [Our surgeon] has been using the robot with deformity cases. More complex cases can now be done at our hospital simply because we have ExcelsiusGPS.”

Brian Brigham
CFO | Northwest Specialty Hospital
